The Human Rights Committee of the Law Society will hold its Annual Human Rights Lecture Tuesday 10th May 2011 at 5:30 pm.  This year’s lecture is entitled “Dispatches from the Dark Side – On Torture and the Death of Justice” and will be delivered by the human rights lawyer Gareth Peirce. The President of the Law Society, Mr. John Costello, will open the Lecture and the Honourable Mr Justice Garrett Sheehan will introduce the lecture.  This lecture is free to attend, however, there is limited availability so early registration is advised.  To book your place, please contact Ms Joyce Mortimer at: j.Mortimer@lawsociety.ie
